Ingredients
- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 lb. ground veal
- 1 small onion – grated
- 2 cups grape nut flakes
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- A dash of pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
Directions
Combine all ingredients except butter. Shape into small meatballs. Brown in butter. Cover tightly and simmer 10 minutes. Remove meatballs to casserole. Pour 1 cup of water into skillet. Bring to boil. Pour over meatballs. If you want to thicken gravy, use 2 tbsp flour.
